Programme overview

The Master’s Programme in Business and Digital Law provides advanced legal education in the closely related and rapidly developing fields of business law and the regulation of digital technologies. Contemporary economic activity increasingly takes place in technology-driven environments where corporate and commercial relations interact with digital platforms, data-based business models, and new technological infrastructures. The programme addresses these developments by examining how traditional areas of business law are evolving in response to digitalisation.

The programme provides students with in-depth knowledge of the legal frameworks governing companies, commercial transactions, digital services, and innovation-driven business activities. Attention is given to legal questions arising from technological development, including artificial intelligence, data governance, financial technologies, and the operation of digital markets. Alongside a solid theoretical foundation, the programme develops students’ ability to analyse complex legal issues and apply legal reasoning in contemporary business contexts. Through research work and the study of current legal and regulatory developments, students strengthen their analytical and research skills and gain a deeper understanding of the legal challenges associated with technological change and modern economic activity.

By integrating business law with the legal regulation of digital technologies, the programme responds to the growing need for legal professionals who are able to understand both the traditional legal structures of business organisations and the new regulatory questions arising from digital transformation. Graduates are therefore prepared for professional work in legal practice, corporate environments, regulatory institutions, and other fields where expertise in business and digital law is increasingly required.
