Get ready for an unforgettable summer experience designed for Bachelor’s and Master’s students, recent graduates, and young professionals in sports science, kinesiology, physiotherapy, and health sciences!

EMUNI, in collaboration with the Science and Research Centre in Koper, Slovenia, and Heliopolis University in Cairo, Egypt, invites you to join the 2025 edition of the Healthy and Active Lifestyle (HALS) Summer School – a one-of-a-kind academic adventure by the Adriatic Sea!

Who Should Apply

from Bachelor’s students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals with a background in sport sciences or related fields. EMUNI values diversity and encourages participation from across the Euro-Mediterranean region and beyond. Selection is based on motivation, academic background, and commitment to the field.

Participation Fee: €280

Fee includes:

  • Full access to lectures, workshops, and course materials
  • Use of lab equipment and facilities
  • Field activities and transfer to the Science and Research Centre in Koper
  • Farewell celebration


Please note:
Accommodation, travel, insurance, and visa arrangements are not included. EMUNI will provide guidance on accommodation options and issue confirmation letters to support visa applications, but cannot cover associated costs.

  • Interventions for limiting consequences of physical inactivity

Certificates

Certificate of Attendance: awarded at the end of the summer school to all participants who have completed the programme.

Transcript of Records (with 3 ECTS credits and grades): awarded only to participants who complete all course requirements and pass the final exam. Transcripts will be emailed to each participant individually. Hard copies will not be issued. Participants’ home institutions should contact us directly if this is required.
