Programme overview

The programme is aimed at students who want to go beyond the classical framework and deepen their understanding of the intertwining of technology, law, philosophy and social sciences. The programme is specifically tailored to students from the fields of philosophy, political science, economics, law, ICT, social sciences, journalism and information sciences and is also suitable for anyone who wants to critically examine the social, ethical and cultural challenges of the modern digital age.

Students develop knowledge and skills for an in-depth professional understanding of digitalisation and human rights as well as the principles of ethical conduct in the digital world. The program aims to empower and equip future professionals for development, innovation and research work in the fields of digitalisation, digital ethics and human rights and prepare them to work effectively and anticipate developments in these areas by adapting to the rapidly changing world and technology.

Admission requirements

Admission to the first year of study is granted to the candidates who have completed a comparable education abroad and have been, in the process of recognition of their qualification and in accordance with Assessment and Recognition of Education Act, granted the right to continue their studies at the study programme.

The relevant proof of compliance for English language proficiency:

Candidates who are English native speakers and candidates who completed the studies in countries where English is the language of instruction are considered as fulfilling the English language proficiency and do not need to provide proof of compliance.

The EMUNI University reserves the right to test the candidates’ language knowledge if, during the application process, EMUNI finds that the English language proficiency is not at the required level.

Tuition and scholarships

Tuition fee for this programme is 5.800 EUR / per academic year and can be made in the following ways:

Based on their personal profile, experience and proven motivation, the candidate may be awarded a scholarship to partially cover the tuition fee. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis as funds are limited.
