3rd Scientific Conference

Corporate Governance and Technology in the ESG Era

The conference titled Corporate Governance and Technology in the ESG Era will focus on the intersection of corporate governance and technology, with an emphasis on how boards can represent shareholder views and values, and the responsibilities of boards to operate their companies sustainably.

It was once plausible for corporate boards to focus solely on maximizing the economic value of their firms. Today, however, shareholders, consumers, workers, and the public demand more.  This conference will bring together leading scholars from Slovenia and around the world to discuss how boards can incorporate broader social interests into their decision-making and the extent to which technology can bridge the gap between corporations and the public good.
