4th Scientific Conference: Corporate Responsibility for Environmental and Human Rights Due Diligence in EU and Slovenian Law

On Wednesday, 6 May 2026, a scientific conference titled Corporate Responsibility for Environmental and Human Rights Due Diligence in EU and Slovenian Law will take place in Koper, Slovenia. The event will be organised in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either in person or online. The on-site venue will be Kreljeva Street 6, Koper.

The conference will address recent developments in the EU legal framework on corporate sustainability, environmental protection and human rights due diligence. It will bring together researchers, legal practitioners, policymakers and academics to discuss emerging regulatory trends and their implications for national legal systems and corporate governance. The event is organised within the research project “Measures of Company Law to Enhance the Competitiveness of the Slovenian Economy in Relation to Compliance with International Treaties in the Field of Human Rights and the Environment and the Fight Against Climate Change” (ARIS: V5-2514), conducted by the Legal Institute of ZRS Koper.

The conference programme committee is chaired by Prof. Dr. Rado Bohinc, President of EMUNI.
