Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Blue Economy Recognised as an EU Good Practice Example

We are proud to announce that the European Commission has officially recognised EMUNI University’s Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Blue Economy as an inspiring example of good practice. The project, coordinated by Dr. Diana Rico and supported by Dr. Mounir Ghribi, was selected for its outstanding outcomes and impactful contribution to sustainability, education, and regional cooperation.

This recognition comes from the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), which will feature the project on their official channels and internal EU networks as a model of excellence within the Jean Monnet Actions under Erasmus+.

The Centre of Excellence contributed significantly to raising awareness and promoting research-based education in the field of the blue economy, with strong emphasis on sustainability, policy dialogue, and capacity-building in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

We congratulate the entire team for their dedication and for positioning EMUNI as a leading academic hub for sustainable development in the region.
