Our Activities

Network

We coordinate and expand EMUNI’s international academic and institutional network.

Through our network, EMUNI connects universities, ministries, research centers, and international organisations.

EMUNI Knowledge & Innovation Centre

The EMUNI Knowledge & Innovation Centre (EKIC) fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and knowledge transfer between academia and industry.

It serves as a platform for transforming ideas into sustainable solutions that address regional and global challenges.

Euro-Mediterranean Chamber of Commerce

The Euro-Mediterranean Chamber of Commerce strengthens cooperation between academic institutions and the business sector.

The Chamber acts as a bridge between knowledge and economic development in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Events

EMUNI regularly organizes international conferences, Erasmus weeks, workshops, and academic forums in cooperation with partner institutions across the Euro-Mediterranean region, promoting dialogue and collaboration.

These events bring together researchers, students, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, present research, build partnerships, and strengthen innovation and academic cooperation.

Our Mission

Strong Euro-Mediterranean focus

EMUNI is uniquely built to connect Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, creating a shared academic space where cooperation, intercultural dialogue, and regional development are central priorities.

University + Network

Unlike many universities, EMUNI operates as both an institution and a large regional platform, linking 200+ partner universities and organizations, making collaboration easier and more structured.

High International Activity

EMUNI constantly co-organizes conferences, Erasmus international weeks, workshops, and academic forums with partner institutions, offering strong visibility and real opportunities for long-term cooperation.

Academic diplomacy & policy impact

EMUNI goes beyond education by connecting academia with policymakers and international stakeholders, supporting innovation, sustainable development, and strategic dialogue for the entire Euro-Mediterranean region.

Multicultural and Multilingual Environment

EMUNI’s network naturally brings together diverse cultures, perspectives, and academic traditions, making its international relations work richer and more inclusive than most universities.

Full Members Testimonial

The European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) highly values its membership in the EMUNI Network, which provides an important platform for dialogue, cooperation and knowledge exchange across the Mediterranean higher education community. Being part of EMUNI has strengthened our collaboration with universities and research centres committed to advancing education, research and intercultural dialogue in the region. The network supports meaningful academic cooperation and helps build bridges between the northern and southern shores of the Mediterranean through joint initiatives, mobility and shared expertise. This aligns closely with IEMed’s mission to promote mutual understanding and regional cooperation, and we look forward to continuing this fruitful collaboration within our Shared Mediterranean Space.
