EMUNI to Host Training Workshop on Connectivity in Marine Spatial Planning

Next June, SEA-UNICORN’s WG3 will hold a training school dedicated to the specific integration of Connectivity data in Marine Spatial Planning using decision support tools such as Marxan and Marxan Connect.

This training, will be organized at the EMUNI University in Piran, Slovenia and last for one week. It aims to help MFC scientists and early careers decision-makers gain the basic theoretical knowledge (1 day) and practical skills (4 days) necessary to integrate Connectivity into Marine Spatial Planning. The training workshop will be free of charge and open to 22 participants. The possibility of a hybrid format from day 1 is currently being explored. Funding for travel may be provided by the COST Action for up to 15 participants, in compliance with its rules for Participant Selection.
