EMUNI University invites researchers, students and early-career researchers to submit abstracts for the international online conference “Digital Voting: Law, Technology and Society,” taking place on 14 January 2027.
Organised by Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń as part of the DIGIVOTE project, coordinated by EMUNI University, the conference will explore the legal, technological and societal dimensions of digital voting.
The conference will address the following themes:
The future of voting.
Technical and legal readiness.
Trust building and electoral integrity.
Inclusive and accessible voting.
Citizens’ perspectives on digital voting.
The event will provide an opportunity to exchange research findings and perspectives on how digital voting can support accessible, trustworthy and inclusive democratic participation.
Abstract submissions
Abstracts must be written in English and should not exceed 300 words. Students and early-career researchers are also invited to submit proposals for the e-poster session.
The deadline for abstract submissions is 30 November 2026.
Selected papers will be considered for inclusion in a peer-reviewed post-conference publication by an international publisher.
