CreaTech Events at EMUNI Strengthen Innovation and Skills in Cultural and Creative Industries

On 8 December 2025, EMUNI University hosted two CreaTech events dedicated to boosting innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration in the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs). The activities brought together EMUNI students and staff, Faculty of Design representatives, partners from the creative sector, and programme participants.

The day began with the Training Activity (WP3), attended by 14 participants, where they were introduced to the Comprehensive Capacity-Building Programme (CBP) and took part in a hands-on Business Model Canvas workshop, developing creative business ideas with guidance and mentoring.

This was followed by the project presentation (WP2), which attracted 26 participants and provided an overview of the CreaTech project, highlighting achievements and EMUNI’s key role in supporting innovation and capacity building in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Additional presentations showcased staff and student training initiatives, as well as start-up mentoring delivered with the Faculty of Design. A panel discussion focused on strengthening entrepreneurial capacity in higher education and enhancing cooperation between universities and the CCI sector.

The events concluded with networking and plans for further collaboration, reinforcing EMUNI’s commitment to empowering creative talent and supporting a vibrant, innovative CCI ecosystem.
