KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE BETWEEN EMUNI & AL AKHAWAYN UNIVERSITY

The Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) had the pleasure of hosting Rachid Daoudi, Project Officer of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, for an Erasmus+ staff learning mobility.

From 13-16 June, 2022, Mr. Daoudi participated in teaching course modules on leadership and project management for a bootcamp delivered to students from a variety of countries in the Southern Mediterranean, including Jordon, Egypt, Tunisia, Lebanon and Morocco. The initiative is part of the Erasmus+, Capacity building in Higher Education (CBHE) project The MEDiterranean countries: Towards Internationalisation at Home (MED2IaH), for which EMUNI is the coordinator.

He also took part in student activities and exchanged best practices with EMUNI staff members in the fields of conducting research and implementing capacity building projects.

The mobility proved of great benefit to both insitutions and especially to Al Akhawayn University at a local level, which is endeavouring to foster internationalisation, mainly with partners from Europe. In regional terms, Mr. Daoudi´s mobility will be a model for other universities in the area of FES-Meknes to emulate.
