The EKIC Entrepreneurship Sprint was successfully held at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in Egypt, bringing together enthusiastic students for a day dedicated to entrepreneurship, innovation, and collaborative learning.
The interactive workshop introduced participants to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship through practical exercises, teamwork, and mentoring sessions. Students worked together to identify real-world challenges, generate innovative business ideas, and develop practical solutions while strengthening their entrepreneurial and problem-solving skills.
The participants were welcomed by representatives of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport and EMUNI University, highlighting the importance of international academic cooperation and the shared commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among young people across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The Sprint was attended by Prof. Dr. Jaka Vadnjal, Head of Network and International Relations at EMUNI University, who actively participated in the workshop and supported the initiative aimed at empowering future entrepreneurs and strengthening international academic collaboration.
He was accompanied by Emna Jbara, PR and Outreach Manager at EMUNI University, and Moataz Elissawy, Assistant to the Head of Network, who contributed to the successful organisation and coordination of the event.
Throughout the programme, students explored business model development, value proposition design, and pitch preparation, gaining practical insights into transforming creative ideas into viable entrepreneurial projects. The interactive format encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and the exchange of ideas among participants from different academic backgrounds.
The Entrepreneurship Sprint reflects the ongoing cooperation between EMUNI University and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport in promoting entrepreneurship education, innovation, student engagement, and international academic partnerships, while contributing to the development of a new generation of entrepreneurs capable of addressing regional and global challenges.
