On 10 April 2026, within the online HEI Showcase organised in cooperation with EIT Culture & Creativity, EMUNI successfully presented the CreaTech project, funded under the EIT Higher Education Initiative (Project No. 24-001-X-XXX-002). The project was presented by dr. Nada Trunk Širca and Gal Pastirk (EMUNI), together with Dorina Kripa (University of Tirana).
The presentation highlighted the project’s core activities, particularly its Phase 1 startup support, as well as its role in strengthening the capacity of higher education institutions to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the cultural and creative industries. The event, as an important platform within the EIT Culture & Creativity ecosystem, also featured several other projects (IDEAL, TECHSIGHT, C-Accelerate Plus, TRI-CREATES), offering insight into the broader innovation landscape.
Particular emphasis was placed on EMUNI’s role in developing the Startup Booster Programme, implemented in cooperation with the Faculty of Design, as a key mechanism for supporting the development of start-ups in the cultural and creative sectors.
