EMUNI starts a new week by welcoming its students of Intercultural Business Communication for their second face-to-face period.
During the coming four weeks, EMUNI students will follow an intensive programme of six different courses, including Academic writing skills and basic research, Intercultural relations in Italian speaking countries, Intercultural relations in English speaking countries, Intercultural negotiations and two language courses (English and Italian).
Students will also gain hands-on experience through Intercultural laboratories and study trips foreseen to introduce them to businesses in the region, including Illy Caffè (Trieste, Italy) and Kempinski Palace Hotel (Portorož, Slovenia).
EMUNI students will conclude their programme with a study visit to the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean in Barcelona, where they will familiarize themselves with the everyday work of this international institution that lies at the heart of Euro-Mediterranean affairs, and attend EMUNI’s annual conference “Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications: Where does the Euro-Mediterranean region stand?”.
About the EMUNI MA in Intercultural Business Communication
The Master’s Degree in Intercultural Business Communication is an interdisciplinary study programme offering knowledge and skills to support the communication of market actors (enterprises and non-profit organisations). Particular attention is paid to the command of languages, contemporary modes of business administration, including internet marketing and international strategies, and key soft skills of intercultural dialogue and intercultural relations. The objective is to provide robust knowledge of the specificities of conducting business in the Euro-Mediterranean region and beyond, as well as to develop communication and intra-personal skills of individuals, allowing them to assume managerial responsibilities with confidence.
