EMUNI University was proud to participate as a partner in the final event of the TRUE BLUE project, held on 23 April 2026 in Trieste.
The event brought together key stakeholders from across the region to discuss the future of the sustainable blue economy, with a strong focus on knowledge transfer, capacity building, and regional cooperation in the Western Balkans.
We are pleased that Prof. Roberto Biloslavo, Vice President of EMUNI, took part in the high-level panel discussion, contributing to the dialogue on advancing skills, innovation, and cooperation in the blue economy sector.
In addition, Asst. Prof. Luka Juri (EMUNI) contributed to the discussions by presenting insights on geopolitics of transportation in the Adriatic, highlighting the strategic importance of regional connectivity and its links to sustainable blue economy development. Throughout the day, discussions highlighted:
- the importance of upskilling public administrations
- strengthening science–policy–innovation synergies
- fostering regional collaboration for EU integration
The event also provided a valuable platform to explore new partnerships and future opportunities, reinforcing EMUNI’s commitment to sustainability, education, and international cooperation.
