The 1st workshop to design the INNAQUE programme, syllabus, and intended learning outcomes has successfully brought together partners from across Europe, North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa at the University of Palermo.
This three-day workshop (15–17 April 2026) focuses on the co-design of the INNAQUE educational programme, with particular attention to curriculum structure, course development, and intended learning outcomes, while strengthening competencies for aquatic ecosystem management
The programme reflects a dynamic and collaborative approach:
- Day 1: alignment on project status, deliverables, and quality processes
- Day 2: intensive group work and co-creation, focusing on curriculum design, competence framework, and labour market integration
- Day 3: practical application and future collaboration, including a field visit and reflection workshop
The workshop highlights the importance of interdisciplinary education, integrating:
- Nature-based solutions
- Environmental sciences
- Digital tools and innovation
- Governance and sustainability
Bringing together international partners, INNAQUE aims to bridge knowledge, innovation, and skills development, contributing to more resilient aquatic ecosystems and sustainable development pathways.
