The Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) was pleased to welcome the Director of the Science and Research Centre Koper (ZRS Koper), Prof. Dr. Rado Pišot, and the Deputy Director, Dr. Tilen Glavina, during their visit to EMUNI’s new premises in Koper.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Pišot and Dr. Glavina met with the President of EMUNI, Dr. Rado Bohinc, and the Vice President, Dr. Roberto Biloslavo. The meeting focused on the long-standing and highly valued cooperation between the two institutions, as well as on exploring future opportunities for joint activities in the fields of research, higher education, and international projects. EMUNI expressed its sincere appreciation for the strong partnership, mutual trust, and constructive dialogue that continue to shape shared initiatives.
ZRS Koper and EMUNI have maintained a strategic partnership for several years. A key milestone in this collaboration was the signing of a cooperation agreement in March 2019, which enabled the establishment of the Euro-Mediterranean Postgraduate School (EMPoS). Operating within EMUNI with a defined level of academic autonomy, EMPoS offers specialised master’s and doctoral programmes, including studies in kinesiology, and represents a successful model of institutional cooperation.
This collaboration significantly contributes to the quality of research and educational activities, while also strengthening the international visibility and impact of both institutions. EMUNI is grateful for the continued support and partnership with ZRS Koper and looks forward to further deepening this cooperation in the years to come.
