Strengthening Academic Ties: Prof. Rado Bohinc’s Visit to Naples

Prof. Dr. Rado Bohinc visited Naples to foster collaboration between EMUNI University and key academic institutions. On Monday, the president met with Rector Prof. Dr. Luigia Melillo of MED.E.A. – Higher Education Institution for Mediterranean, Europe, and Africa, operated by Pegaso International, a globally recognized institution offering innovative and flexible higher education. Discussions focused on student exchanges, joint projects, and the potential for double master’s and PhD programmes.

On Tuesday, Prof. Dr. Bohinc met with Rector Prof. Dr. Roberto Tottoli of Università di Napoli L’Orientale, the oldest school of Oriental and Asian studies in Europe, known for its international outlook and rich linguistic and cultural programs. Slovenian has been taught at the university for over 110 years, highlighting its deep ties with Slovenia. Discussions focused on internships, summer schools, research collaborations, and teaching roles in EMUNI’s master’s and PhD programmes.
