The Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) was pleased to welcome the Rector of the University of Primorska, Prof. Dr. Klavdija Kutnar, during her visit to EMUNI’s new premises in Koper.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Kutnar met with the President of EMUNI, Dr. Prof. Rado Bohinc, the Vice-President of EMUNI, Dr. Roberto Biloslavo, and the Secretary-General of EMUNI, Mag. Lina Kaldana. The meeting focused on strengthening the existing cooperation between EMUNI and the University of Primorska and on identifying opportunities for expanding collaboration through future joint initiatives.
Discussions highlighted shared strategic interests in higher education, research, and international engagement, with particular emphasis on developing and implementing future joint projects, fostering academic mobility, and enhancing cooperation within Euro-Mediterranean and broader international frameworks. Both institutions expressed a strong commitment to working together on new initiatives that build on their complementary strengths and shared values.
The visit reaffirmed the mutual interest in deepening institutional ties and advancing collaborative efforts that contribute to academic excellence, innovation, and regional as well as international impact. EMUNI looks forward to continuing its close cooperation with the University of Primorska and to translating these discussions into concrete joint projects in the near future.
