Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Blue Economy (CoE-SUBE) of the Euro-Mediterranean University EMUNI promotes cooperation between science, policy and society, bringing together citizens through different instruments such as artistic events. On this occasion, we bring photos from the blue planet taken by Borut Furlan, a worldrenowned Slovenian underwater photographer, that show his great passion for marine life. The exhibition Into the Blue showcases the Piran Sea Oasis, a project developed by YouSea Institute, institute for conservation of marine biodiversity to promote conservation of the marine environment to develop innovative sustainable multitrophic aquaculture and promote conservation of the marine environment, accompanied by portraits of the stunning marine life of the Slovenian sea.
Into the Blue will be on display from 9 to 13 December 2024 at the EMUNI University, Kidričevo nabrežje 2, Piran, Slovenia.
The opening ceremony will take place on the 9 December from 14:00 to 17:00.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 8:00 to 17:00.
Admission is free.
