EMUNI Welcomes the 5th Mediterranean Youth Academy and Celebrates Erasmus Week

EMUNI University welcomed participants to the opening of the 5th Mediterranean Youth Academy (MYA) on 16 October 2026 in Koper. Taking place from 16 to 20 October, the Academy brings together young people from across the Mediterranean to exchange ideas, develop skills and explore shared challenges.

The opening gathering offered participants an opportunity to connect in an informal atmosphere ahead of the programme’s workshops and discussions. This year’s Academy focuses on climate action and accountability; AI, skills and the future of youth work; and gender equity and agency.

The gathering also marked Erasmus Week, celebrating the role of international mobility and intercultural exchange in bringing young people together. The gathering was financed through Erasmus+, supporting an occasion dedicated to connection, dialogue and shared learning.

Through the Academy, EMUNI continues to support youth engagement and cooperation across the Mediterranean, creating space for young people to learn from one another and contribute to their communities.
