The President of the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI), Prof. Rado Bohinc, was warmly received by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) in Barcelona at the end of last week, where he met the UfM Secretary General, Nasser Kamel.

The UfM, for which EMUNI University is a priority area, reaffirmed its support for the new EMUNI Strategy and Action Plan, which aims to enhance higher education and bridge the shores of the Mediterranean. The EMUNI initiative to establish a scholarship foundation for students from the Southern Mediterranean also received the UfM´s full backing.

EMUNI looks forward to continuing and building upon its mission to contribute to knowledge amongst people in the region by establishing and fostering a Euro-Mediterranean higher education and research area, where inclusive growth and development are increasingly contingent upon the advancement of knowledge and innovation.
