EMUNI University is proud to participate in the prestigious international Summer School “Ports of the Future,” taking place from June 15-19, 2026, at Université Le Havre Normandie in France. Dr. Luka Juri, Head of the Department for Political and Social Science at EMUNI, will deliver a lecture on Wednesday, June 17, examining the critical question: “From Gateway to Lake? Will Geopolitics and Climate Change Kill the Mediterranean Port?”
The summer school brings together students from around the world to explore how ports evolve, meet contemporary needs, preserve their heritage, and integrate principles of sustainable development and technological innovation. The programme is organized within the framework of EUNICoast – The European University of Islands, Ports and Coastal Territories – a strategic alliance of European universities focused on maritime and port territories.
