EMUNI University representatives have visited the Antonine University – UA in Lebanon via the Erasmus Mobility Exchange Programme. During the visit, the EMUNI President Prof. Dr. Abdelhamid El-Zoheiry had a meeting with the highest management executives of the UA, the Secretary General, Fr. Ziad Maatouk, and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Rony Darazi . Both parties agreed to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation that includes the following areas:
– the development of joint programmes and projects with the postgraduate and research education physiotherapy department
– the exploration of close cooperation with the Antonine University Business School Department alongside its MBA programme
– the possibility of the Antonine University joining the Inner Circle of the EMUNI Network.
Both universities look forward to collaborating on new and innovative joint projects that will present fresh opportunities for the students of the institutions.
The Antonine University and EMUNI are already working in partnership on the Erasmus+ capacity building project Towards Internalisation at Home. Aimed at higher education, MED2IaH is primarily designed to have an impact at system level and trigger reform processes at national level in Mediterranean Partner Countries (PC).
