EMUNI joins EUNICoast meetings on community engagement and impact in Patras

On 8–9 October 2026, EMUNI University participated in the EUNICoast Community Engagement (WP4) and Impact and Dissemination (WP7) meetings hosted by the University of Patras, Greece.

The meetings brought together Alliance partners to review progress and explore how EUNICoast activities can benefit universities, students, and coastal and island communities.

WP4 discussions addressed institutional community engagement plans, training and pilot activities, the Skills and Jobs Observatory, student employment, and science diplomacy. EMUNI contributed to implementation reporting discussions and highlighted its role in coordinating the Alliance’s science diplomacy activities.

WP7 sessions focused on the Alliance’s impact framework, evidence collection, joint dissemination planning, communication activities, and the Ambassador Programme. Partners also discussed alumni and stakeholder engagement, international conferences, and advocacy activities.

Joint sessions explored connections between the two work packages, including ambassador-led partnerships, a shared Community of Practice, and approaches to linking community engagement with measurable impact and effective communication.

The meetings helped partners coordinate their next steps and strengthen collaboration across the Alliance. EMUNI thanks the University of Patras for hosting these exchanges.
