EMUNI University participated in the LEADHEGA Staff Training (Train-the-Trainers) Workshop and Project Meeting in Baku, Azerbaijan, represented by Vice President Prof. Dr. Roberto Biloslavo.
The activity was organised within the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project LEADHEGA – Leadership in Higher Education Development in Georgia and Azerbaijan (Project No. 101237161). The project brings together higher education institutions and partners from Georgia, Azerbaijan and the European Union with the aim of strengthening leadership capacities and supporting the modernisation of higher education.
The Train-the-Trainers workshop represents an important stage in the project, preparing staff from Georgian and Azerbaijani partner universities to deliver the newly developed Higher Education Leadership Development Programme. The training supports participants in developing the knowledge, skills and approaches needed to facilitate leadership development activities within their institutions.
Alongside the training, the partners gathered for a project meeting to review progress, coordinate upcoming activities and discuss the next steps in the implementation and piloting of the Leadership Development Programme.
EMUNI contributes its expertise in higher education leadership and institutional development to LEADHEGA, continuing the work carried out during the project’s earlier research and study visit hosted at EMUNI in Koper. Through its participation, EMUNI supports the exchange of European practices and strengthens cooperation between higher education institutions across Europe, Georgia and Azerbaijan.
LEADHEGA is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme and runs from November 2025 to October 2027.
