Erasmus+ International Staff Week at EMUNI University

Today, EMUNI University welcomed participants to the Erasmus+ International Staff Week 2026: Digitalisation and Human Rights in the Euro-Mediterranean Region and Beyond, taking place from 1–5 June 2026 in Koper, Slovenia.

The event was officially opened by Dr. Rado Bohinc, President of EMUNI University, who welcomed participants and highlighted the importance of international cooperation, digital transformation, and the promotion of human rights in higher education and society.

The event brings together representatives of partner higher education institutions from across Europe and the South Mediterranean, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration on topics related to internationalisation, digital transformation, and human rights.

This year’s Staff Week focuses on the opportunities and challenges that digitalisation presents for human rights in the Euro-Mediterranean region and beyond. Through a series of lectures, workshops, and discussions, participants will explore issues such as digital inclusion, privacy protection, digital identity, and the role of higher education institutions in fostering equitable and resilient digital societies.

The programme also offers participants the opportunity to learn more about EMUNI University’s activities, engage in networking events, and strengthen existing partnerships while creating new opportunities for future cooperation.

EMUNI University is delighted to host colleagues from around the world and looks forward to a productive and inspiring week of learning, dialogue, and international collaboration.
