On 8 June 2026, EMUNI University will host the International Conference “Geopolitics of Transport” in Koper – Capodistria, Slovenia, bringing together institutional leaders, executives, and scholars to debate how geopolitical tensions and shifting supply chains are reshaping maritime routes, ports, railways, and intermodal corridors across the Adriatic and the broader Mediterranean.
This high-level, one-day conference is organised as part of Ocean Literacy Day, within the EUNICoast – European University of Islands, Ports, and Coastal Territories alliance, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme (project no. 101177157). It is organised together with the Bled Strategic Forum, with the support of the City Municipality of Koper, and media support from Regional.
