Admission Interview

ADMISSION INTERVIEW as part of the application process

According to the Higher Education Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 56/25; Article 13), higher education institutions are required to conduct an interview before proceeding with further academic and administrative processing of applications submitted by candidates applying for enrolment in higher education in the Republic of Slovenia who come from countries identified as having a higher migration risk (see list of countries) and in accordance with the legislation governing the entry, exit, and residence of foreigners are required to hold a visa to enter the European Union.

The purpose of this interview is to assess the candidate’s suitability in relation to the admission requirements of the selected study programme.

The interview will be conducted in English via ZOOM. The applicant will receive an invitation to the interview per email with the date and time of their interview.

The candidate must show a passport identifying themselves at the beginning of the interview. 

Candidates who successfully pass the interview will be notified and their application will be further processed.

Candidates who do not pass the interview and it is established that the candidate does not have the knowledge required in accordance with the documents attached to their application will receive a rejection decision and all procedures related to the application will be terminated. 

If the candidate does not attend the interview or does not confirm/accept the interview date twice consecutively their application will be rejected

Candidates who have been rejected cannot re-apply in the same academic year.

The candidate receives a decision within a week of the interview.
