Start-up Booster Program Launches First Pilot Cohort
EMUNI has officially launched the first pilot cohort of the Start-up Booster Program, developed under Task 6.2 of the CreaTech Project. Beginning on 27 October and running until Christmas, the pilot serves as an important test of this new support model for early-stage entrepreneurs in the creative and cultural sectors.
The programme brings together start-ups from Albania, Kosovo, the United Kingdom, Greece, and Slovenia, encouraging cross-cultural exchange and collaborative learning. Over eight intensive weeks, participants progress through the full business development cycle—from idea validation and problem definition to innovation design, financial planning, and pitching. Mentors from EMUNI and partner institutions provide tailored guidance, supported by access to wider innovation networks, including incubators and investors.
A highlight of the cohort is Slovene designer Nika Ravnik, whose zero-waste fashion brand combines sustainable production methods, innovative construction, and sculptural aesthetics. Her brand builds recognition through sales, customer growth, media visibility, and diverse collaborations.
The pilot will conclude in December with final presentations and business-plan submissions. Insights will be captured in a comprehensive Cohort Report, shaping future programme cycles under Tasks 6.3 and 6.4 and contributing to a stronger regional creative entrepreneurship ecosystem.
