Elisabetta Pavan graduated in Modern Foreign Languages and Literature, earning her PhD in linguistics with a thesis on intercultural communication at Venice University. She is a lecturer at the University of Padua, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and Ca’ Foscari School for International Education as well as at the University of Primorska in Koper, Slovenia. She has also taught at Venice International University. As a visiting professor at the University of Sao Paulo, USP, Brazil, she has taught a full post-graduate course in Intercultural Communication. She is on the scientific committee of various European projects. Prof. Pavan regularly gives lectures in Italy and abroad on intercultural communication, both in an educational and managerial context.
