Dr. Dragan Kesič obtained his PhD in 2004 from the Economics-Business Faculty at the University of Maribor, Slovenia, with the theme of the globalization of the world pharmaceutical industry. He joined the Faculty of Management at the University of Primorska, Koper, in 2007 after having worked 20 years at several international and multinational companies in leading managerial positions. As a result, Dr. Kesič has a rich managerial record from experience in the international business environment covering international marketing, strategic management, and the corporate management of companies. Currently, he is employed as Associate Professor at UP FM in Koper, Slovenia, where he teaches several courses, including international business and marketing for the undergraduate and postgraduate study programmes. Dr. Kesič has published a vast number of articles and books on international business and marketing in various publications at home and abroad. He has held many guest teaching courses on his area of expertise at several foreign educational institutions, and is fluent in both English and French.
