Dr. Lidija Nikočević is a doctor in anthropology . She has done research in ´´difficult heritage“ and has published books and articles  on the anthropology of borders and migrations, museums and intangible culture, and cultural stereotypes.  Her work has also involved the anthropology of food, emigration, imperial legacies, traditional architecture, tourism and history of ethnology.

She is an experienced museum professional at both national and international level. Dr. Nikočević has been active in many professional associations and advisory committees, both in Croatia and internationally.
