The final IAH Capacity Building webinar successfully concluded a four-part series at the end of March for the EMUNI-led Project MED2IaH – The MEDiterranean Countries: Towards Internationalisation at Home.
A total of 1558 participants joined the four webinar sessions from the 16 other consortium partner institutions in Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Italy, Spain and France, as well as externally. The Lebanese International University, Philadelphia University in Jordan and Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development in Egypt provided the highest number of attendees.
Each webinar covered a different theme: from Internationalisation of the Formal Curriculum, and Global Skills Development in a Local Context, to Virtual Mobility and the final theme of Diversity and Intercultural Engagement, which drew the highest number of participants: 680.
MED2IaH is primarily designed to have an impact at system level and trigger reform processes at national level in Mediterranean Partner Countries (PC). MED2IaH will ultimately benefit the whole higher institution sector with the inclusion of all stakeholders (management, academic and administrative staff at universities, students) in project activities.
