Italian language at A2 level provides students with grammar knowledge, communication skills and abilities according to the European Guidelines for Language Education (CEFR) with elements of intercultural communication. The lessons are based on an interactive communication method and offers students insights into the Italian language, country and culture. Through authentic texts, watching short recordings, films, broadcasts, texts from the press and various exercises, students continue to develop and expand upon all communication skills from Italian Language I (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Students become aware of similarities and differences among cultures, are trained in intercultural business communication as well as business correspondence.

Learning Outcomes and Objectives

After taking this course, you will gain:

  1. Knowledge of the Italian language at the level of B1+ according to the Common European Reference Framework for Languages (CEFR)
  2. The ability to communicate appropriately, acquiring vocabulary and language structures necessary for elementary communication in an intercultural environment.

Lectures, tutorials, work in pairs, e-learning, work in groups, presentations.


Active participation in lectures and tutorials, written exam, oral examination, home assignments.
